Speaker 1: Today, we're going to take a look at the Redarc 24 Volt 100 Amp Smart Start Dual Sensing Battery Isolator. Now, this dual sensing battery isolator will connect in-line with two batteries, and transfer power in either direction. It can transfer charge from a start battery to an auxiliary battery once the start battery gains charge from the alternator. It can also pull power from the auxiliary battery that is connected to an outside power source to charge your start battery. The isolator function will stop the power transfer from the charging battery if the voltage drops too low so to help prevent excessive discharge in a dead battery.Now, the blue wire on this is an override wire. This can allow for emergency starts and simple fault detection.

You can attach this to a switch, which we sell separately on our website, to manually reverse the charge, and jumpstart a dead start battery, or you can connect it to an LED that can be mounted in your cab for easy viewing of the diagnostics.It does use silver contact points to ensure long life, corrosion resistance, has a nice durable housing to protect the sensitive electronics, and it is a compact design so it allows for reversible insulation. Overall dimensions on this is about three inches including the mounting bracket. About three inches, overall length. About two and a half inches wide, and about three and a half inches tall. That will allow you to mount the isolator in a convenient location near your start battery.Now, they do offer six gauge cables, fuses and connectors that we do sell separately that would work with this isolator.

This part is made in Australia. Application, this is for vehicles with standard or temperature compensating alternators. Maximum continuous current is 100 amps. Standby current is less than five milliamps, and the output connection is 24 volts DC, but that should do it for the review on the Redarc 24 Volt 100 Amp Smart Start Dual Sensing Battery Isolator.
