This beautiful Roe Deer was brought to Hillside by a kindly couple all the way from Northumberland after she was hit by a motorbike near their home. While she has recovered from her superficial injuries, an injured leg was not showing signs of sufficient recovery to give her a good quality of life and an amputation seemed the only option. Nowadays most vets will not treat wild deer, except to put them to sleep.
