Remove an American Standard Faucet Cartridge in 7 Simple Steps

1. Remove index button on handle base
2. Remove set screw with a hex wrench (3/32”)
3. Remove handle
4. Unthread cartridge cover by turning counter-clockwise
5. Remove cartridge and check seals at bottom for damage or debris
6. Check sealing surface within faucet body for damage or debris
7. Replace cartridge by repeating previous steps in reverse
