The first Royal Engineers Awards on Wednesday 28th November 2018, was hosted at the Institution of Civil Engineers in London. The event was presented by BBC reporter Mark Edwardson.

The awards are designed to show appreciation to the hard working and talented Sappers that work within the Corps of Royal Engineers.

The 1st award was presented by Major General (Retd) Alastair Dickinson CBE, President of the Royal Engineers Association and awarded to Corporal Anil Rai of 36 Engineer Regiment, deemed the best Junior Non-Commissioned Officer completing junior command training 2018!
