We became ‘fish people’ after rescuing “Clowney” and several other young fish we heard were left to die in a garage after the people moved. She and a catfish are the only survivors 3 years later thanks to a rough learning curve. She can be hand fed if you know when to draw back - she has a snap that will take fingers off. She’s quite aggressive and must live alone. She likes to follow as you pass by like a dog. High maintenance pet, but impressive in size at approx 2 feet and growing. Eats pellets and some live goldfish as treats once in a while. Thawed shrimp accepted, too.
