I am practicing recording my ENGL Fireball 60 watt guitar amplifier head going into a Mesa Boogie 1x12 Cabinet with a Celestion Vintage 30 speaker. I am using a Sennheiser e609 placed directly on the grill near the edge of the cone. The only processing I did is use Soothe 2 to take off a bit of the harshness. No EQ or compression was used.
