not a comprehensive review.. Just differences you'll except to see in both cameras including low light performance, af speed and coverage, weight and size, and FPS speed.
Summary:
I'll gladly shoot the Sony at 3200+ ISO and not notice anything while the Nikon D800 becomes noisy past 800 ISO.
The D800 is a beefy DSLR at 2 lbs and the Sony a7iii is much smaller and lighter.
AF points are limited on the D800 at 51 AF points and the speed is okay while the Sony has full coverage, around 690 points, and blazing fast AF.
The Sony shoots faster at 10 FPS and the Nikon is limited to 4 frames per second and a buffer that fills up fast.
Both have their uses and are amazing cameras in their own regard.
