Be honest, are you pushing yourself hard enough during your workouts? Or do you stop yourself when you just start to feel the burn, when in reality you could have done 5 or even 10 more reps?
To maximize growth, research suggests you need to push yourself to the point of being at least within 3 reps of complete failure. This isn't going to feel comfortable, especially during leg days. Coffee or a pre-workout supplement before your workout can definitely help with this, but ultimately you got to dig deep and remind yourself that your willingness to push through this discomfort and push past your mental limits is the key to experiencing the growth you're after!
