Looked around to find out how to do this, but could only find complex da vinci stuff.
I downloaded Handbrake [ Ссылка ]
and used this to convert the clips then edited them in premiere pro.
If you skip through the options you find one that allows you to keep the same size and transcode losslessly and I dumped them into an mp4 container.
The come out at 4:2:0 and quickly and perfectly workable in PP.
I shrunk them by scaling to 60% uniformly to fit into my UHD sequence at 25fps.
It is probably not a pro thing to do, but if you simply fancy a quick bit of fun it works! And the transcode is quick.
(The movement in the frame is because its hand held).
The only tweak to the sequence was sharpening to 20 using Lumetri.
