The Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa) is a large, long-legged, long-billed shorebird, about 42 cm long, with a yellowish or orange-pink base and dark tip bill, dark grey, brown or black legs, with orange breast, neck and head, in winter brown-gray breast and upperparts.
