At the Wagah-Attari border in Amritsar on June 5th, the Border Security Force (BSF) successfully intercepted a Pakistani drone attempting to smuggle 3.1 kg of heroin. DIG Sanjay Gaur of the BSF stated that they had been receiving intelligence inputs for the past 2-3 days, indicating that smugglers from Pakistan would make an attempt to transport heroin using drones. Taking prompt action based on this information, the BSF troops were able to seize the drone and three packets containing approximately 3.1 kg of heroin.
