TEACHER DEMO. This song is on Page 150 of the Alfred's Adult All-In-One Course Level 1. In 1944 the music was composed by David Raksin for the movie "Laura" which featured Gene Tierney and Dana Andrews. Then in 1945 Johnny Mercer added the lyrics to it and it has become a Jazz standard with over 400 recordings including a well-known version by Frank Sinatra.
