Today i am sharing with you a very easy recipe for Gulab Jamun without milk powder and without egg. I hope you all will like this recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
Milk 2 cups
Whole cardamom 1
Wheat flour 1/2 cup
Butter or Ghee. 2 tablespoons
Milk to soften the dough as required
Syrup :
Water 2 cups
Sugar 1 and 1/2 cup
cardamom 2
Tips :
Dough should be very soft to get soft Gulab Jamun .
Add extra milk to soften the dough if needed.
Wheat flour Gulab Jamun changes colour very quickly without cooking from inside so keep stirring continuously while frying.
Fry all Gulab Jamun on low heat .
Syrup should be very hot when you add Gulab jamun inside it .
When you add Gulab Jamun in the hot syrup cook for a minute first then close the lid of the pan and cook another 2 minutes with close lid .
Do not open the lid until syrup is completely cool.
Dip Gulab Jamun in syrup for 3 hours.
