हिंदू धर्म की बुनियाद वेदों के ज्ञान पर टिकी बताई जाती है। वैसे तो समय के साथ हर चीज़ बदलती है। लेकिन जो चीज़ नहीं बदलती वह है वेदों का ज्ञान जो स्वयं ईश्वर से प्रकट हुआ है। अभी तक हमने वेद के बारे में बताया साथ ही ऋग्वेद पर भी संक्षिप्त जानकारी आपको दी । इस वीडियो में आपको यजुर्वेद के बारे में जानकारी दे रहे हैं।
यह वेद मुख्यत: यज्ञ करने की सही प्रक्रिया और उसके महत्व के बारे में बताता है। इसी कारण इसे कर्मकांड प्रधान ग्रंथ भी कहते हैं। पौराणिक कथाओं में अश्वमेध, राजसूय, वाजपेय, अग्निहोत्र आदि अनेक यज्ञ करने, करवाने की कहानियां हैं। इन सब यज्ञों की विधि, इनसे संबंधित कर्मकांड यजुर्वेद में मिलते हैं।
The Yajurveda is the Veda primarily of prose mantras for worship rituals. An ancient Vedic Sanskrit text, it is a compilation of ritual-offering formulas that were said by a priest while an individual performed ritual actions such as those before the yajna fire.
