Such an overcrowded situation arisen specially on the occasion of Eid festival, the main religious festival of Muslims of Bangladesh. Around 8 millions peoples leaves Dhaka city towards their home in the small cities and villages to celebrate Eid festival in the last 2 days before Eid. This is almost impossible to manage such a huge crowd for a small country like Bangladesh. It's a Horrible Ticket counter of Berhampore Court station, Although there are 4(four) ticket counter available but most of the time only 2(two) of them are opened for travellers.... must watch - Over populated rail ticket counter in berhampore court station , Murshidabad,West Bengal. The situation is so bad here that one has to be behind 150-200 people to get a simple 10-50 rupees train ticket. No secondary counter available .It is one of the most over crowed railway station in India.
