Last game played as a La Costa Canyon Maverick. Budinger was clearly the best on the floor among several college players. Though Chase Budinger did miss a fairly close shot at the buzzer allowing the South team to win.

It was the first year the CIF-San Diego section official sponsored/ran the senior all-star game (boys and girls). Two years later the section stopped their affiliation with the senior all-star game.
