We had our shipping container delivered a week or so ago and it wasn't positioned just how we'd like it, or level. In this video we use a floor jack and a high lift jack to level it out as best we could.
It's amazing how strong this metal is. It's 40 ft long and if you lift one corner just an inch, the other corner will pick up. It doesn't really torque or twist. Anyways, we got it leveled out and are going to leave it as is for a while until we do something more permanent.
Soon we're going to starting building our free standing decks for our bell tents as well as outhouses, then we'll likely come back and figure out a footer situation for the conex. Somewhere in between we are going to add vents and build shelving as well. Oh, and while we were out there, Devon took measurements for lighting, so we'll post a video showing how that looks soon.
It's looking like springtime before we install a roof, awning, and water harvesting system to the container, but you never know!
