I got the Kastking Valiant Eagle II out for some test casting with various lures. I even managed to catch my first brown trout since spring!

Is it over braked? Yeah. Is that a problem? I don't think it is for me.

Some of the "Holy Grail" BFS reels like the Abu 1500c can't really cast down below 2 grams, so what if this one can't either? For the first trip out ont he water with my typical trout lures, it worked well. I bought it to be more of a power Bass set-up anyway.

It is smooth, drag seemed to work well, and only one weird thing going on - which might have been line related.
