(25 Mar 1977) Portuguese Prime Minister Mario Soares reshuffled his cabinet to broaden the base of his minority socialist government and improve its efficiency. The swearing in, which was provoked by the cabinet being overworked since the resignation of two ministers in November and January, took place at the Foreign Ministry's Ayuda Palace.
