The Bavarian city of Regensburg, which lies in southeast Germany on the Danube, is well-known for its surviving medieval core. The stone bridge dating back to the 12th century is one of its landmarks. The 310 m long, 16 arch bridge links the Stadtamhof neighborhood with the old town. The Gothic cathedral from the 13th century, with its twin towers, is another significant monument. The Regensburger Domspatzen reside in this area.
