The Wii Sports Theme didn't have to go as hard as it did to be honest.. It's an incredible melody and over all vibe. That first fanfare sort reminded me of "In the Stone" by the legendary Earth Wind and Fire so I just couldn't resist arranging this style mashup!!

There is something so magical about the specific brand of nostalgia associated with the 2000s era Wii music, so it was a huge pleasure to arrange this timeless Nintendo theme for the band to be the first track off of our upcoming 5th album (which is still untitled)!!

"The 8-Bit Big Band" is a 30-65 member Jazz/pops orchestra that formed to celebrate and realize some of the best themes from video game music from all consoles and eras arranged in a large ensemble Jazz/Pop/Rock setting!

Blending together timeless musical themes from Nintendo, Sega, Sony, and more then re-arranging them in genres and styles of all musical inspirations, The 8-Bit Big Band has members from all around the world, but most reside primarily in New York City, and are some of the most highly sought after musicians and performers.
