Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are 2012 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak, published by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. Part of the fifth generation of the Pokémon video game series, the games are direct sequels to Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, being the first sequels in the series.

Black 2 and White 2 follow a Pokémon Trainer's journey to become the Champion of the Unova Region, two years after the events of Black and White. Following the events of its predecessors, the criminal organization Team Plasma have come back as Neo Team Plasma, and the player must thwart their plans throughout the story, stopping them from ruling the world.

The events of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 take place two years after the events of Black and White, with new locations that weren't accessible in the previous games. These are places like Virbank City, Flocessy Town, Lentimas Town, Humilau City, along with areas called Hidden Grottoes, where you can catch special Pokémon. Also, instead of starting in Nuvema Town, the player begins their journey in Aspertia City, a new city located in the southwest of Unova. Unova's design is modeled after New York City.
