The day the US elected its 47th President, the US military tested its nuclear-capable Minuteman III ICBM. The nuclear-capable Minuteman III ICBM was tested from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Nov. 5. The US military released a video of its strategic arsenal, which travelled approximately 4,200 miles to the US Army's test site. The test comes at a time when global conflicts are rising and the threat of major global conflict looms large. However, the United States Military stated that the test was not the result of current world events. The statement from the US military said, 'These tests demonstrate what Striker Airmen bring to the fight if called by the president'. The nuclear-capable Minuteman III has a range of over 9,660 KMs, travelling at a speed of about 15,000 miles per hour. About 400 of the missiles are located at Air Force bases in Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota.
