In this video we are soaking Lake Superior agates in mineral oil for a week to give them a long lasting "wet" look. I had them soak in room temperature for a week, then with a towel, dryed them off and rubbed in the oil. This mineral oil soak will give the agates a better shot at showing their full beauty, which is easily seen when the agates are wet with water. That only last a few minutes though. This mineral oil soak should last for months. I will be doing a follow up video to show how long the mineral oil wet method lasted. Thanks for watching!
