In Connecticut, The Residential Solar Investment Program (RSIP) pays homeowners back for installing solar.
As of November 2020, the rebate is structured as follows:
1-10 kW (42.6 cents per watt - up to $4,260)
10.01-20 kW (32.8 cents per watt up to $7,540)
This program has already gone down in value once before and went away in 2020. Now it is back, so don't wait if you are interested in solar for your home!
