In this video Greg Macke - Your Car Angel - reviews the second generation Toyota Rav4 which ran between 2001-2005. The 2001, 2002 and 2003 had problems with the ECM or what is sometimes referred to as the ECM, which is the computer module. These early years had what seemed like transmission issues but they were in reality the problem with the ECM. That was really the only problem on an otherwise great car. In the later years between 2004 and 2005 the ECM was revised and improved. The defect was corrected. The later models also had the more powerful 2.4 liter engine. Overall the 2nd generation Rav4 was an excellent car that shows up on Greg's Halo list. It is one of the best used cars to buy.
