CM Shredders new line of Hybrid dual shaft shredders are capable of processing materials for size reduction, destruction, recycling, shredding and processing. CM Shredding machines can be fitted with standard one piece Hook and Shear knives or CM’s patented replaceable insert knives.
CM patented knife technology allows them to be sharpened and reused 6 times which has a drastic impact on operating costs and makes them very competitive. This patented feature also uses the closest knife to knife tolerances possible which allows the system to produce the cleanest cut chips with the least exposed wire.
The cost of knives and the associated costs with knife changes is the leading cost driver to operating a shredder. CM’s replaceable knife systems run longer between knife changes, take less time to change and cost less to replace.
These systems provides some of the lowest cost of ownership of any shredder on the market. Tire chips that are clean cut with very little exposed steel are critical to the efficiency of the system and when producing tire chips for fuel markets. CM Primary Hybrid Shredders are the workhorse of the industry. They process OTR tires down to passenger tires.
Larger off road tires may need to be pre-cut and debeaded prior to processing. They process whole tires into rough shreds for disposal. These rough shreds can also be fed to Chipping Shredders to produce specifically sized chips in high production applications for Tire Derived Aggregate (TDA) or Tire Derived Fuel (TDF).
