LOIS' DEDICATION TO DEBBIE REYNOLDS
I am so grateful for the few years that I spent working with Debbie Reynolds. Debbie made us all a part of her family. We traveled with Debbie, her children, Carrie and Todd, her Mother, Maxine, and Brother, Uncle Bill. At age 13, Carrie performed in our show. Carrie was a powerhouse personality and talent even at that age. That experience has been a special thread throughout my life. Myself and my friends of "The Unusual We" kept up with Debbie in many ways. She gave a dinner party for a reunion with all of us that had been in her act and even came to a dinner party that we had for one of our member's birthdays. We would go to see her perform whenever possible and she would introduce us to the audience by name and make us feel special. She was very warm and genuine and we all miss her spirit. This show is how I have been able to honor Debbie's and Carrie's memory and share what I remember with love and gratitude.
