In this video we are demonstrating the three different methods you can use to cut your carpet before you tuck and scrub onto the grippers.
We will be using two different knives, a straight blade knife and a hook blade knife.
There are two methods using the straight blade knife, these are the side cut and the back cut, we recommend the back cut for beginners as it is the easiest to learn and the least likely to cut the carpet incorrectly.
The final method is using the hook blade which is the hardest method to learn.
We have also included a quick demonstration on how to tuck and scrub your carpet after cutting. For this you will need a carpet knee stretcher and a bolster.
