Former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh in his statement to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Anil Deshmukh case has alleged that dismissed assistant inspector Sachin Vaze was strip searched and abused in jail to withdraw statement given to the ED against former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
Singh has also said in his statement to the ED that Deshmukh had met dismissed assistant inspector Sachin Vaze at Chandiwal Commission and pleaded him to withdraw his statement given to the ED.
Meanwhile, Former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh told the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that he believes former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh was the mastermind behind parking an explosive-laden Scorpio near industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s house and the subsequent murder of vehicle owner Mansukh Hiren.
