"I don't want people to forget. I don't want them to forget the courage, the dedication, and the fact that the shuttle astronauts were human beings, in the purest sense of the word, they wanted to make this world a better place for all of us - their students, their children, their families. And even though they risked their lives, and they lost their lives, they were willing to do that."

20. SOUNDBITE: (English) Philip Brown, Teacher:
"My daughter, Morgan Christa, was born on January 22, 1986. If I would have been, quote unquote, 'lucky enough' right, to have been selected as the teacher in space person from New Hampshire, and lucky enough to be selected at the national level to go, I would never have known my daughter. But I was still - just like Christa - I was willing to risk that, not seeing my children, to better conditions for human beings on this planet."
