‘Since’ is used when we speak about a period of fixed past time – since the war, since last year, since my school days. But, if we mention the duration of the period of time, we use ‘for’ – for three weeks, for six days, for ten years. I explain how to use the present perfect tense with incomplete periods of time like ‘this morning’ and ‘this afternoon’. Also, how we use the adverbs of indefinite periods of time, ‘lately’, and ‘recently’. There is an exercise for you to practise at the end of the video.
