Pune metro arrives Civil Court station. It is Aqua line.
Pune Metro is a fast transport system that runs across the Indian city of Pune. Three lines make up the system, which has a total length of 54.58 km (33.91 mi). As of March 2022, 12 km (7.5 mi) on two lines are in use. The 16.59 km (10.31 mi) Purple line, which connects PCMC Bhavan and Swargate, travels above ground from PCMC Bhavan to Range Hills before tunneling underground. The 14.66 km (9.11 mi) Aqua line travels from Vanaz to Ramwadi on an elevated viaduct. The civil court will be reached through the 23.33 km (14.50 mi) elevated Line 3 that connects the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi with Balewadi. At the Civil Court interchange station, all three lines will be in alignment.
Ramwadi to Vanaz through Deccan Gymkhana and Mangalwar Peth is served by the Aqua line. The Mula-Mutha river bed is where a portion of the line that gives it its name passes. There are 16 stations along the 14.66 km (9.11 mi) elevated route. At the Civil Court interchange station, it is connected to the Purple line and Line 3. On the former site of a waste dump, close to the Vanaz station, lies the maintenance depot for the Aqua line.
Pune metro extended lines are inaugurated by PM Shri Narendra Modi on 1 August 2023.
