Terry Wolfmeyer (Joan Allen) has been dumped by her husband -- who, in a clichéd ending, ran off with his secretary -- and is left to raise her four daughters alone. But there could be a silver lining to it all when Terry hooks up with a retired baseball player (Kevin Costner). Erika Christensen, Alicia Witt, Keri Russell and Evan Rachel Wood co-star in this comic drama about tangled family ties.
