LIVE: Hong Kong's Historic Giant Panda Twin Cubs Celebrate 100 Days
Tens of thousands of people gathered at Ocean Park to celebrate the milestone of 100 days since the birth of Hong Kong's local giant panda cubs,. Many visitors wore panda headbands and costumes, while others brought along panda toys as they eagerly awaited a live broadcast of the cubs on large LED screens. At the event, visitors were treated to red eggs and pork knuckle ginger stew with vinegar, traditional dishes symbolizing the celebration of a newborn. Ocean Park also announced that next month, attendees can look forward to meeting two new giant pandas, a gift from the Central Government.
