(23 Aug 1962) Our pictures show the 27th Tourist Trophy Race, the oldest event in the British racing calendar. Among top drivers taking part were John Surtees, Graham Hill, Mike Parkes, Innes Ireland and Jim Clark. John Surtees took the lead in the 3rd of the 100 laps, but collided later on with Jim Clark in the Aston Martin. They were both right out of the hunt. The winner was Innes Ireland, Graham Hill took second place and Mike Parkes third.
