The Adventure Project is finally back in business after a 2-year layoff thanks to the Pandemic. Finally we are able to run some ski trips again and we are kicking off our season in North Macedonia in January with some cat skiing out of the ski resort of Popova Sapka.
This was our first day skiing on the 9th January. There had been a couple of inches of fresh snow but visibility was poor. We only skied for half a day so we could focus on avalanche safety skills training in the late afternoon. Still, with only 6 skiers and 2 local guides, we were able to lap quickly and have some fun skiing. More snow was in the forecast for the 10th, so day 1 was a great warm up.....
