Westminster City School pupils pitch about The Great Plastic Project.

We received the fantastic news that our student representatives reached the final of the City Pitch competition.

Stephen, Jamets, Daniel, Brima, Daniel, Isaac and Cihan-Ali were crowned finalists with their ‘Great Plastic Projective’ initiative aimed at reducing plastic pollution within school and the local community.

The afore mentioned students were required to submit a campaign video to promote their social action project. This included a myriad of scenes, featuring a dramatic role play, rap (with backing dancers) and a heartfelt speech on how we, as a community at Westminster City School, can really make a difference. The students involved will now go onto receiving a further workshop from City Pitch, before preparing for the finals at City Hall on Friday.

This will give them the opportunity to win up to £1,500 to support their initiative. Please join me in wishing them every success.
