Raspberries Are A Hardy Bunch! In fact, for most of us, we don't need to do anything with our raspberry plants at all to get them prepared for winter. Little extra compost and some mulch around the base and they are good to go for the next few months!

However, in really cold climates, raspberries do need some extra protection. For most varieties, they have biennial shoots that live 2 seasons, meaning they need to go dormant and survive your winter. If you get a harsh cold season, then don't worry, we got you covered.
