On August 11, 1990, Laura performed a live, 5-song set as the special guest performer at the Specialty Records Corporation 40th Anniversary Celebration held in Pennsylvania. After a wonderful introduction, Laura sang a great mix of the old and the new, with "Turn the Beat Around," "Solitaire," "Never in a Million Years," "Power of Love," and closing with her iconic signature song "Gloria". Afterwards, Laura joined company executives, their spouses, and others at the after-party, where she was her charming, playful self as she graciously interacted and took photos with everyone. Laura was accompanied that evening by Atlantic Records executive Perry Cooper and her husband Larry Kruteck, both of whom can be seen at the after-party. What a fantastic night it was for all!

Specialty Records Corporation, operated by WEA Manufacturing, Inc. and based in Olyphant, Pennsylvania during its years of production, was one of the premier record, tape, and CD manufacturing facilities in the world, and as such the company pressed Laura's records in all formats, so it was quite appropriate for Specialty Records to have Laura perform as a premier Atlantic Records artist at this special corporate milestone celebration.
