Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar warned Prime Minister Narendra Modi about upcoming Union elections. He said PM Modi won the 2014 national elections, but he now needs to worry about the 2024 elections. When speaking with the media shortly after being sworn in by Governor Phagu Chauhan, Kumar also refuted the BJP's assertion that the new administration would not serve out its entire term, claiming that his former ally "would be back where they were after the 2015 assembly elections." He further adds, "Will the people in power in 2014 still be in charge in 2024?" Earlier, Sushil Kumar Modi, a prominent member of the BJP and a former deputy chief minister, had attacked him and the JD (U).
