Join us for the third and final full day of our Amazon Rainforest adventure at Refugio Amazonas! This day is packed with incredible experiences, from a sunrise boat ride to a sunset cruise, culminating in a fascinating nighttime activity where we assist in discovering new species.

Highlights:

Early Morning Boat Ride: Start the day before dawn with a 2-hour boat ride to the Maac Clay Lick. Watch the sunrise over the Amazon as we search for exotic wildlife like parrots and capybaras.
Wildlife Encounters: Despite it not being macaw season, we spotted several vibrant species, including blue-headed parrots and yellow-crested parrots.
Jungle Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest before heading back to the lodge for more wildlife spotting.
Sunset Cruise: In the evening, we take a tranquil boat ride to watch the sun set over the Amazon, capturing the serene beauty of the river and the vibrant colors of the sky.
Night Walk and Moth Discovery: Our day ends with an exciting night walk, where we participate in an activity to discover new species of tiger moths. Learn about the importance of these insects and their role in the Amazon ecosystem.
