Onimusha is one of those classic video game series which has become increasingly obscure and difficult to play in the modern day, despite being integral to the history of action game development and Capcom's own creative process. In this video, I take a look at the entire six-game series, a franchise which goes in crazed, unexpected directions and features at least one scene of Oda Nobunaga shooting his balls at a gold elephant statue.
