A transbay bus on a local route in Fremont! Due to a few transbay buses being assigned to Division 6 in Hayward, they only operate on the U line, which does not run on the weekends. They often times will operate on local Fremont lines just so they can help support the local bus fleet.
As you can see, paying only $2 for a transbay ride experience is great! Sadly, this route does not have very great ridership, and oftentimes trips are empty. This bus was going back and forth between routes 212 and 232 for the entire day, given that the nature of that run.
