Driver intros have been made. The turn marshals are in position. The truggies are sitting on the grid. You can feel your adrenaline surge as the main is about to begin.

While you anxiously wait for the starting tone, you mentally prepare for what’s ahead — reliving the qualifying heats in your mind, checking off what worked and what didn’t. For a moment you picture yourself on the podium, just like in your dreams. You’re smiling for cameras, holding your Losi 8IGHT-XTE in one hand and your trophy in the other.

Then the tone sounds. Suddenly it’s full pin, wide open, sprinting for the hole shot…tearing along a good line through the turns…seizing opportunities to put as much distance as possible between your truggy and the traffic coming up from behind.

It’s all coming together. You’re in the lead lap, still holding your position, about to take the win. And this time, it’s not a dream.
