Have a difficult hem to shorten? Maybe you can take it from the top? Even if it has a zipper, there may be a way to shorten it from the waist. In this video I altered a favorite skirt of mine that was to small in the waist and to long. I cut off 4 inches down from the waist and got both alterations done in one! one of the easiest ways to hem a skirt.
