Every Monday in March, DP will release interviews with self advocates who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. March is nationally recognized as a month, raising awareness, for those who are diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year, we are celebrating with the theme "I am..." to help others understand who they are as individuals, rather than being defined by their diagnosis.
