𝗔𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 that can be carried while traveling abroad.
• Non immigrants Visa (Visit, Student, F2): $1500
• Immigrant visa (DV, Green card or PR): $6500
Central bank allows Nepali citizens travelling abroad to buy a maximum of $1,500 (in Cash) from banks which is almost equivalent to CAD 2000 exchange. Foreign currency exchange can be done from any commercial banks in Nepal.
𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 which are 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 to exchange Money:
1. Original Passport with visa
2. Flight Ticket Copy
3. Cash
4. Bank Account needs to be open (it depends upon the bank).

Currency exchange पछि passport को foreign currency exchange section मा declaration गर्नुपर्छ ताकि you won't have any trouble while traveling abroad. Bank stamp is necessary on passport and tickets.
It's always better to exchange your currency at banks or exchange counters.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮?
According to Nepal Rastra Bank's regulation, While you are departing from Nepal you can exchange and carry up to 5,000 USD with you provided that it is mentioned on your passport's foreign currency exchange page.
The maximum amount one bank may provide you might differ from individual banks. So, it is best to consult directly with the bank.
