James Lee Jamerson was an American bass player. He was the uncredited bassist on most of the Motown Records hits in the 1960s and early 1970s and he is now regarded as one of the most influential bass players in modern music history.
I wanted to grab all of my favorite James Jamerson bass lines and mesh them all together back to back with no stops. Out of anyone James Jamerson plays the most musical note slection and never runs out of genius rhythmic phrases. Every thing was memorized and played note for note. No punch ins or adjustments. There's a couple variances here and there but left them in to keep the performance untouched. Jamerson has been a huge influence on me and this my thanks for it.
I do not own any of this music.
