Vehicle was an inoperable, hammered to shit drift car with a melted motor as of December 2020. Beginning in January 2021, I had the care scooped up on commission and brought back to life, slowly de-drifting it and making it back into a street car. After the rebuild, I have driven it once a week since February 2021 but I have to rotate a bunch of cars so there still hasn't been many miles put on it. The rebuilt KA motor was sourced from an S14... it currently has ~425 new miles. It's still running break-in oil. The history of repairs thus far include:
-S14 engine out service, rebuild, and seal: block bore, new pistons & rings, valve job w/cam, mill heads, new bolts and gaskets
-engine bay painted flat black; valve cover painted rose gold
-new wiring installed with new knock sensors and coolant temp sensors
-S13 Silvia body conversion with front fenders, fascia, head lamps, grille, turn signals, fiberglass hood, side skirts, and rear valence
-fabricated and installed custom bash bar for front fascia
-new front turn signals/side marker lenses
-upgraded radiator; installed new coolant reservoir
-new clutch and flywheel
-removed A-pillar gauge cluster, programmable ECU, and battery relocation in trunk
-adjustable coilovers
-fabricated and installed custom exhaust
-new windshield; remounted side window glass
-new driver side door striker installed
-short shifter found leaking, replaced with stock setup and new shifter boot
-removed rear window tint
-installed new fuel injectors, spark plugs and spark plug wires
-installed new air filter/fuel filter
-replaced fuel pressure sensor switch
Car should be finished summer of 2022, assuming all of the other projects go smoothly.
